Cfibre

Cfibre is automated tracing software that can be used to segment contours found in a variety of natural and medical images (e.g., images of corneal nerves obtained using a confocal microscope). The following publication provides a brief summary of the structure enhancement algorthm used in this program for the analysis of corneal nerve density:

Kim, J., Markoulli, M. (2018) Automatic analysis of corneal nerves imaged using in vivo confocal microscopy. Clinical and Experimental Optometry, vol. 101, pp. 147 - 161.
